Question:
Does anyone know of any natural remedies for cold sores aggravated by sun
exposure?
Answer:
I'm not sure if cold sores induced by sun are the same, but what we call fever
blisters or mal herpes can be cleared up with the heat of a hair
dryer. This will cause the virus to become dormant and if caught about the time
that you first feel the stab of discomfort, the blister will not even form.
Some times it takes a longer time of administering the heat, some times a
shorter time. It can be a bit uncomfortable, so don't hold the hot air on it
too long at a time. Use a bit of common sense. It works for me every time. The
only time I get one coming on is when I have been uncomfortably cold for too
long,especially my feet.
