Does anyone know about taking about 2x the recommended dose of lysine
for a cold sore? I used to do it before pregnancy and it seemed to work
pretty good.

I also experienced cold sores when I
was pregnant. My pharmacist recommended lysine ( rather than zovirax cream )
explaining it is a natural enzyme - and is not contraindicated during
pregnancy.
