Question:
A few months ago, I asked the group if anyone had any suggestions for canker
sores in children. Well, I have just one more quick question regarding this.
For all of you who said you get these on a regular basis, have you ever gotten
them way in the back of your throat? I mean WAY back there. My 10 year old
daughter gets canker sores all the time on the inside of her cheeks but she was
complaining of a sore throat so i looked and seen a white spot back there. The
doc said today that he thinks it is a canker sore

I've never had canker sores, and neither have my children. My sister used to
get them quite a bit though as a child and a teenager though not much as an
adult. She always used something called Campho Pheneec (Not the right
spelling) and it worked okay.but believe it or not, what really worked
great and which she swore by ever since trying it at around age 13 was Vicks
Vaporub. I know it sounds silly.but it did really work. And she often
got them way in the back of her mouth.
