Canker Sore primary HIV infection?

Question:
I had a protected sexual encounter with a prostitute where I was only in her for a minute after which I pulled out and got a hand job insted. This was 6 weeks ago.
Now I have a canker sore on my gums. My first one ever and it hasn't gone away in 5 days now. I agitated the otherside last night and so much so that overnight another canker formed. So that is two cankers now, one on each side of my back top gum forming with 5 days of each other.
I have no other symptoms.
This is probably just a coincidence but I am worried like crazy. I know that Primary HIV infection comes in a constellation of symptoms not just one but this is making me very worried. Any suggestions?

Answer:
what you describe seems to be low-risk (doesn't mean _no_ risk) but the chances are it's something else. it _is_ something so even if just an ordinary cold sore/canker it's good to have it checked out.
I'd suggest a VDRL for syphilis, perhaps. Canker alone is first symptom you'd see.
