Any alternative medicines for chancre sores inside the mouth?

Question:
would like to know if there are any suggestions for curing these kinds of sores. The doctor said that they are a virus that just has to run its course

Answer:
I've read that sodium laurel sulfate (and sodium laureth sulfate) both are contributors to mouth sores (besides being industrial-strength degreasers that are dangerous to put in your mouth). They are in almost all toothpastes! (I'll bet most people have never noticed the warning on the box of their favorite toothpaste-but not on the tube. If it's not safe for children, how come it is for adults?) Look for ones that are free of those chemicals. Other helps are echinacea, aloe vera juice and hydrogen peroxide rinse.
