Question:
Does anyone know what causes canker sores and what a good cure
is for them? I've gone to several doctors and had no luck - I
even went to the head of the ears,nose and throat division at the
clinic - the doctor there told me that they are caused by
stress and poor diet Just recently I went to the clinic and the
doctor prescribed Tylenol w/ Codeine #3 and Zovirax. He also
told me to take B-6 3 times a day. The result of which was that
I missed 3 days of work from nausea, and lightheadedness. Consequently
I quit taking the medication - the vomiting didn't help the
situation either with the added acid. Needless to say I am getting
tired of always suffering from these.
Answer:
We always know when my husband is stressed out because he gets
a sore by the corner of his mouth. He's used a cream with
LYSINE, and that has helped. Mostly he uses the Blistex that
comes in the small white tube.
