Question:
Does anyone have mouth sores that make it very hard to eat? I could use
some information on this.
Answer:
If this sore is like the type called canker sores, it needs bases, not acids to
cure it. Baking soda paste works well, but stings. There is an over the
counter product called Gly-oxide. It is glycerine to help the stuff stay where
you put it (I think) and peroxide to kill the nasty germs. I often get these
in bunches after dental work. Gly-oxide does the trick in a couple of days.
It bubbles in your mouth, so be warned, it's a bit strange. I understand that
canker sores are a common problem for folks with this dd.
